I tried my best out there. My Team Associated #B84 was good from the start of the week, as I was floating between the 2-6 range each and every round. I had some chances for some TQ runs, lead a few laps, showed pace, and worked on my driving with it. Ultimately I came up just shy of the podium with a P4 overall in the triple A finals. Considering my lack of success in general on this type of surface, this was a good result for me to build off of against such a stacked field with all of the world’s best in attendance.

I really struggled with my 2wd to find comfort and blew out almost every single run with it the entire weekend, resulting in a P14 overall finish. Not ideal, but it’s not supposed to be easy. I’ll do my best to correct these errors moving forward.

On a separate note, I took my shot at commentating on the live broadcast a few times. It was a fun new challenge that I enjoyed a lot. Thanks to the Elite RC Productions crew for letting me tag along in the booth with Ryan Stiles Harris and Keenan White. I’ll have to polish my skills behind the microphone and try again sometime!

Huge thanks to everyone who makes my program operate. Nicola from Hotrace Tyres Factory flew in from Italy for tire support, I am so stoked for the new Carpet V2 rear tire we used. It is dialed! Another thanks to BT for all of the help throughout the week as well as the team for the great time. It was fun spending time with our European team, Marcus and Joona as we don’t see each other often.

Congratulations to Broc on his well earned win. Now it’s time for me to go back to work for the upcoming Cleveland Carpet Championship.
