The engineers inside Team Associated\u0027s Area 51 were quick to answer the 4WD class with the RC10B74 Team Kit, a completely new chassis configuration equipped with a long list of features designed to give you the winning edge.\r\n\r\nThe engineering continues. The B74.1 platform introduces the use of two separate chassis configurations. The B74.1 is the buggy of choice for high-grip carpet or turf track surfaces with its next-generation Octalock 2-Pad high-load, high-capacity, center slipper clutch and optimized carpet kit setup. The B74.1D includes a center differential with 200,000 cSt silicone fluid and an optimized dirt kit setup.\r\n\r\nBoth kits utilize redesigned, low-profile shock towers with shorter shock shafts and bodies to lower the center of gravity, providing more predictable handling. Also included in both kits are new low roll center (LRC) C and D arm mounts, 66mm CVA bones and axles, and 2.0mm G10 fiberglass chassis brace supports, which all add up to making the B74.1 and B74.1D easier to drive, and easier to push hard on all track surfaces.\r\n\r\nSetups and tuning parts are interchangeable between the B74.1 and B74.1D. Both versions come with the speed, durability, and lineage expected of a true champion. The MBX8R Eco has many new parts to increase stability, rear traction, improved jumping, and have a wide tuning range.\r\n\r\nSuspension:\r\n\r\nNew suspension mounts and geometry. The MBX8R Eco uses new narrow RF (C) and RR (D) pivot blocks with new pivot inserts for increased tuneability. New longer box-shaped suspension arms and arm stiffeners. The rear arm uses an impact resistant material for increased durability. Adjusting the hardness of the lower suspension arms is possible with optional CFRP plates. The rear uprights are also new for the MBX8R Eco. The molded uprights have CFRP plates to adjust rear roll center.\r\n\r\nNew front shock tower and upper front arm mount use new pivot inserts for increased tuneability\r\n\r\nChassis:\r\n\r\nThe MBX8R Eco chassis features a slightly new design to accommodate the new suspension geometry. The chassis has additional machining for increase droop, beveling on the front of the chassis for increased ground clearance, and is lighter.\r\n\r\nNew Battery mount for 4S shorty and standard batteries. You can install either short or standard size batteries using the new two-piece battery tray. The kit comes with 1 strap for 4S short battery(380mm) and 1 strap for 4S standard battery(455mm).\r\n\r\nDifferential and drivetrain:\r\n\r\nHigh Traction Differentials are included in the MBX8R Eco. The Mugen Seiki HTD provides increased acceleration, longer runtime, and more consistent handling. The HTD\u2019s also increase stability, traction and improve handling in bumpy conditions. The HTD diffs use new 20T internal gears to improve consistency and to have smoother operating differentials. This makes it easier to time rhythm sections, better in bumpy and low grip conditions, and helps to increase traction.
