Securing the Swedish LSOR Cup win for the eight consecutive year!
The last race of the season was moved to the Falköping track as the organizer for Norrköping didn't have the track ready for the final. I missed the last time we raced in Falköping and it now is almost completely covered by astro except the straight, and that we would experience in the wet weather conditions.

The day started pretty nice with some moisture in the track but not too bad. I tried both MCD Astro Max and the Schumacher Yellow tires and I settled on the Schumacher tires as they gave me a more consistent grip across the whole track.
The qualifier ended in the first corner. As I have missed a race I started in the mid of the field and got a good start. I bumped into the car in front of me that didn't really react in the start. My car died directly, I could get it to start again. I started checking for electrical problems, was about to change the receiver when I just restarted the transmitter (I had already restarted the receiver) and everything was back to normal.
As I didn't finish the qualifier I started in the back of the 1/8 final and drove my way back to the front after a couple of laps. I did some mistakes as the track was very slippery. But I managed to take a win with 10 seconds margin.
Now we got a nice surprise as the sky opened up and the rain just poured down for about 10 minutes. This was enough to completely flood the track. Once it stopped raining we collectively started to swipe the track clean from standing water and used water pumps to get rid of the big pools of water.

Once we could race again the straight was quite muddy but it had dried up some when it was time for 4wd and it was not too bad. Muddy for sure but not like in 2wd, they got the worst out of it.
In the quarter final I did a really good heart as I started in the front and led from start to finish.
During lunch we got more rain and had to clean the track again. The day was already delayed so we decided to cut the semifinal to just 5 minutes. After the start I got tangled up and rolled after the big wall. I had to once again work myself up in the field but time was running out as the leader drove a great race. But I managed in the end to pass for the lead on the penultimate lap. That was really close but fun to have a mission and real challenge.

Having won all the heats before I started in pole for the final. As we didn't have time for any warmup laps I misjudged how slippery the track was and crashed again on the first lap, just after the double double. But I got lucky and got up on my four wheels without having to be marshaled. After some problems for the cars in front I could reclaim the leading position before the first lap and could then drive a controlled race and win comfortably in the end.
With a finish of a perfect 200 score this concludes the racing season and another win in the cup that is decided in five races where you can drop one race. I skipped one as I was busy with other stuff so I had to deliver in each race. I'm happy to once more put it all together when it counts.

A big cleanup job is needed!
I want to thank the track crew who managed to make the track drivable even if it rained almost the whole day. Also want to give a big thanks to the cup committe who makes all this possible and for us to enjoy.
Last I want to reflect over my new platform for this season, the VRModelsport Phoenix. It has really been a super stable and solid car. No surprises, nothing breaking, easy to work on and just very predictable and well behaved on the track. Just what you want from a car. Feel like this is a very solid car for the coming years in my race program.

On the power end I have been using RN Tuning's engines for three years now and they just continue to deliver. After having som carburator problems in the first race of the year I've had zero engine problem. Event during the hot weather in Starec I had no over heating problems what so ever. I have been using the RV305 Pro engine for the last two years and I might continue with that or try the RV320 Pro engine. The Powergrip clutch with 1.8 springs and a combination of carbon and aluminium shoes has been perfect setup on all tracks.
Looking forward to next year where I will NOT race at the Euros. It's just too far to travel from Sweden down to Spain with all the stuff. But I will try to maybe race some other international race instead, maybe already during the winter season.
Sweden LSOR Cup 2026 #5 (cup final) - 4wd A-finalThis is the 4wd A-final from the cup final in Falköping for the Swedish Large Scale Offroad cup. The weather was shifting the whole day, it was pouring down and then sunny. The track crew made an amazing job so we could finish the day and race the finals. The front straight was pretty muddy and the cars were really dirty after the day. This track is one of my favorites track as it offers so many different things including a giant wall that is 5m high from the bottom. There are many places to save time and to crash.
