P16 - Nitro Buggy

Had a week of full ups and downs, qualifying to B-Mains on both buggies and A-Mains on both Truggies 📉📈

Missed the A-Main on E-Buggy on the with a mistake on the last lap and did a nice come back from 12th on the grid to 6th in Nitro Truggy A-Main📉📈

Then we come to the last day and E-Truggy we started 6th, hadsome close battles with some of the tops guys, dropped down and came up again to finish 6th with the fastest laps of the main 📉📈

And the main class, 1:8th Nitro Buggy. Started in the B-Main, had a tumble the first laps, had to climb back up in a stacked B-Main field. Made my way to 2nd behind my team mate @ryanmaifield so we both bumped to the A-Main. 📉📈

A-main… after discussing a little with Ryan and Mike about it we did some changes on the car, glued some S1 Trigons from Procircuit and it payed off! Starting 16th on the grid i was able to put my self in the fight for the win after just 6 Laps into the race. My whole package was just unbelievable to drive. We were rolling in 3rd and reeling in the 2nd and 1st spots.

But, like everything else on this years DNC race, what went up 📈 went down 📉 as well. Had a small bubble/tumble in my In Pit lap, as I was turning around Ryan was just behind me and tapped my wheel on the blind spot we both couldn’t see from the rostrum. Steering link snapped and game over. Worst feeling I ever had as I truly believe we could be fighting for the highest step on that podium 😓

It’s racing, I know, but it’s very difficult to swallow something like this…
